ValvTechnologies Europe visits With UK Prime Minister at No. 10 Downing Street


While running for re-election in April of 2015, UK Prime Minister David Cameron visited the ValvTechnologies Europe facility to announce his North East funding initiative to assist businesses who utilize apprenticeship programs. Click here to learn more about the Prime Minister’s first visit to ValvTechnologies Europe. The April visit was the Prime Minister’s second visit to the facility. He previously visited the ValvTechnologies Europe in 2009, prior to being elected for his first term of office.

Thankful for ValvTechnologies Europe’s support, the newly re-elected Prime Minister honored ValvTechnologies Europe General Manager and Valve Services Manager Adrian Thompson with a special invitation to attend a garden party at No. 10 Downing Street, the headquarters for the Executive Arm of the British Government and official residence and office of the Prime Minister.

At the event, Adrian had the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister Cameron and Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne to discuss ValvTechnologies continued expansion into the European market. The Prime Minister and the Chancellor both expressed their gratitude for their support during the election.
